The shelter is a safe haven that provides counseling, emotional support and a safe place where women and children can get away from violence. The Shelter provides the tools needed to make decisions and take steps toward building a more peaceful home!
They work with other local, state and national organizations toward the day when domestic violence is no longer accepted or tolerated. United Family Services believes that violence is a totally unacceptable form of interaction and is destructive to individuals, families and society.
