About The Event
- WHAT: The Jingle Bell Ball is an event that originated within the Single Adult Ministry @ Myers Park United Methodist Church fifteen years ago. At the heart of this event is the effort to help a worthy cause in Charlotte, the United Family Services’ Shelter for Battered Women.The Jingle Bell Ball committee consists of approximately 40 hard working volunteers from the Charlotte area. We raise money through ticket sales, personal sponsorships, business sponsorships and a silent auction. Each year we have been able to make larger donations to United Family Services. Thank you for your support of our event.

- ENTERTAINMENT: New South Players band can do it all — Motown, Classic, Rock, Dance, and a little Beach music on the side. The New South Players perform the enduring classics and timeless melodies of the 60s and beyond with a reputation for style and musical talent. Inspired by many legendary Motown groups, they combine their superb choreography, funky beats and fantastic vocals into one great show.From The Temptations to Marvin Gaye to Kool & the Gang, from dance-ready numbers to slow moving grooves, the New South Players amaze & entertain their listeners with music that stands the test of time.

- REFRESHMENTS: Ticket price includes 2 drink tickets and heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by Blue Restaurant. See below for some of our tasty treats! Adult beverages are additional and may be purchased by cash or credit.
- SILENT AUCTION: We will have several exciting items for auction at the event. Items range from starting bids of $15 to $500. Please come and start your Christmas shopping early!!!
