Dear Volunteers,
Thanks to you and your efforts, we had a very successful Jingle Bell Ball last Friday! Aside from a few typical glitches, it ran very smoothly and a good time was had by all. Everyone was very complimentary of our return to Grand Central and of our efforts to make the event a success. Now for the question you all have on your minds… “How much did we make to donate to the Shelter?” It is still early, but it looks good and we hope to have a total for you before Christmas. We sold nearly every item in the silent auction, which is a very good sign!
Just click the Photo’s link to the left to see the pictures from Creative Loafing. Mike will be posting more picture too.
Again, thanks to each of you, and especially to Brandi and the staff of United Family Services for the hard work and support to make the Ball a success! Remember, it is not just about having fun, but about helping those who are going through an extremely difficult time in their lives.
God Bless each of you and Merry Christmas!
